Springs with stock shocks?

I recently had a set of Neuspeed Sport Springs installed on a 2001 Civic EX. Just wondering about how long I have before the factory shocks and struts start to go. Car had about 29K on it before it was dropped. Oh, and also wondered if anyone has heard anything about Tsudo cat-back exhaust systems. Supposedly good boost for the buck?

the stock shocks should be fine for a while, a little soft, but fine. The harder you are on them will determine how long they last. Contrary to popular belief, although there certainly is more stress on them, I have known many folks that went years on stock with a mild drop like yours. Don't get me wrong tho, a cheap set of KYB GR-2s or Koni reds will be a step up that is still affordable. If you like the ride now tho, stay with it untill they blow and you start to hear clunking over small road imperfections. As far the cat-back Tsudo, it really comes down to the tip and can style as well as the sound. All of the systems out there will sound different and most folks will say, Oh mine sounds the best, this is relative, just like stereos. As far as the effect the system will have on your car, it will be more effected by the othe mods you may or may not put on like headers or an intake (CAI or short ram regardless), but in and of itself, the difference between that and others like maybe Greddy, Tanabe, etc as far as power is, quite frankly, negligable. Get what you tink looks good and you have the money for. Thats my 2 cents.

Very well put. Here's a little something I found on the back of an Import Tuner mag as far as exhausts are concerned...

These results are for a Subaru WRX but you should get the idea. dB = decibels. Sorry Tsudo wasn't on the list.

Code:
                   dB@idle dB@3000 Peak HP

Stock 87 86 191.8
GReddy 94 92 200.9
