5th gen cd player question

does the stock cd player in a 5th gen have RCA jacks? i hope so cause i dont wanna buy a new one. and if it does, will i have to put in some code when i put the cd player back in?

No!!! the stock CD play does not have RCAs. But their are wiers that you can by-pass that and get your subs too work or amp... thats what i did i have a stock head w/ a 12' MTX and it's fine. don't have much detals my step-dad does thing like that for a livein!!!

damn how in the world did he do that? ive never heard that before. do u have to splice the RCA cable to the wires on the cd player somehow?

I split one of the remote wier and your car is prewired with wiers that acts like RCA if you look on the amp it has 3 things that with RCA you dont use. Thats what i used. Im gona get a head unit soon so i can hear the lower bass. hopfuly an MP3 player...

pOP OUT THE DASH-TRIM... IT SHOULD COME RIGHT OUT. THEY ARE CLIP-ON 2 CLPIS ON TOP 2 ON THE BOTTOM... THERE MIGHT BE ONES ON THE SIDE... AFTER THATS OFF THERE ARE 2 SCREWS FOR THE HEAD-UNIT TAKE THOES OUT AND YOUR SET...:bandit:
