92 abs problem

ABS pump comes on for no reason mostly in snow and rain but sometimes on dry days while driving slow. I have slid uncontrollably in snow a few times first time almost crashing. I have less of a problem in 4wd but with snow coming would like to fix or turn off. thanks

Re: 92 abs problem

My first thought is there is a bad ABS sensor on one of the wheels.

To turn it off, you should be able to just pull the fuse....I don't know if that will cause any other issues though.

Someone more knowledgeable than me should be along shortly to comment.
