Check the info at autozone.com, repair guides, register, enter the truck and go to engine mechanical.

Re: '99 suburban rocker am torque or adjust??

30 sec eh?? i've been searching for 2 days, the only thing i can come up with is i gotta adjust it like the old school 350's all the other vortecs are torque specs, but when i get zero lash then tighten either 360 or 180 degrees i don't get any compression out of that cylinder, or is the the hydralic part of the lifter doing that??

About 1/4 turn after 0 lash should do it when the lift/rockers are at the lowest point
