Heller Ducati Desmosedici 1/12

Does anyone have this kit in their pile? How is the accuracy of the cowls and frame parts?
I'm thinking about getting this kit and use the GP3 parts with a Tamiya GP4 kit as donor instead of getting the expensive, and today pretty hard to come by, Studio 27 transkit.

Hi Joel,

the only fact to give a recommendation for the Heller-Kit.... Itīs a driver in it! But itīs only a basis. The bike kit itself is full with sinkmarks and other nice marks, where you have to spend a lot of time. On the other hand... Itīs cheap... but not priceworthy.

Take your time for decision.

Tschö

Re: Heller Ducati Desmosedici 1/12

As long as the cowls are accurate enough I think I'll take my chances. I have one of the Studio 27 transkits but I don't have the money to get another one.

Thanks for your input!

Hi Joel,

I was the owner of a heller kit, but I sold it again. I didn't like it looking in the box.

So I can't help you with the question.

I agree to some extent. I have the ī02 M1 kit from Heller and I'm going to bash that with a 2002 yzr500. I've seen others do it and it looked great so now I thought of the same with the Duc.
