Shock Absorber Nuts for Strut Bar
Hey, I can't seem to find any shock absorber nuts for my 1999 Nissan Maxima. Guess I'm not looking in the right place. I need the nuts without the domed top so that the nuts can fit under the end plate bolt on my front strut tower bar. I have a Tower bar that I order from Courtesy Nissan ( www.courtesyparts.com ) Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The nuts go OVER the end plate. Remove them, 22mm install the FSTB and put the nuts back on. Torque them to 35 ft/lbs

99 Maxima FSTB nuts
I followed the directions that came with the FSTB. What I need is to know where to find replacement nuts for my shock absorbers that don't have a domed top.
The endplate bolt which connects the bar unit to the endplate gets in the way of the shock absorber nuts. There is not enough room for the nut to fit back on with the domed top. I need a smaller nut (in height). :bandit:
