Ford 9" and S10 question
Im thinking of V8ing my S10 and have two Ford 9" rears I got from the local junkyard. One has a rebuildable trac-loc and the other has 3.50 gears I want to use. The locker I have is 31 spline. I would rather not have to do any shortening if I don't have to. What vehicles had housings the same width with 31 spline axles if any? Im only gonna have maybe 300 horsepower. I know some 8.5s and even some 7 5/8 rear ends might handle this but I want the 9. Thank you.
