1995 Century radiator flush issue

I'm doing some work on a friends 1995 Century with a 3.1 litre SFI V6 motor. I want to flush the cooling system using a flush kit and need to cut the heater inlet hose. I'm pretty sure it's the hose that runs along the firewall to the right side of the motor (facing front of car). can someone confirm this before I cut. I did a search of posts and didn't find anything to help me resolve this.

many thanks in advance.
