Ruf Rturbo Sport

I'm in love!!! :jump:

It makes 520hp, 546lbft, does 62mph/100kph in 3.8 seconds, and the 1/4 mile flashes by in 11.9 seconds.

The handling doesn't seem quite on par with Ruf's previous models :| It holds .97 Gs on the skidpad, and ran a 700 foot slalom at 65.7mph.

But it's tractable around town, the AWD version is driveable in any weather and most importantly, it's so brutally fast when you want it to be...

My lugnut requires more torque than your LS1 makes.

wow ... i just saw a pic of this car a few mins ago and didnt have a clue what it was... silly me, i should have known Alois would be up to his usual tricks!! As for your comment about handling, i have to say im not too convinced that RUF's handle better than Porsche's. Probably being too much of a handful has something to do with it too

Actually, those handling numbers are for the regular Rturbo, I'm pretty sure the Sport handles better, it's got a host of suspension upgrades, bigger wheels and tires, and wider track as well...

It's available built on the 996 Turbo with AWD, or on the GT2 with RWD... Honestly, if I had a GT2, I'd keep it a GT2

I'm not sure when they went on sale, but it's just a suspension and body upgrade for the standard Rturbo...

On that note, when I was ogling the new 996 Turbo at the dealership in Tacoma, I noticed a white whale tail in the back lot... Upon further investigation, it proved to be an early 80s Ruf 930... I got to look under it and everything, very cool.

I didn't have a camera handy, but it looked astonishingly like this

And of course, it had Ruf 5 spokes

I want a Ruf 930 so badly

Love the blend of 935 and 965. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it. Not too keen on that cartoony "Turbo" script on the tail. Other than that it's perfect.

Yeah, that turbo writing would have to go. The standard one is perfect

The big turbo sticker is somewhat alarming

The one I looked at just had the little Ruf turbo logo... with the Ruf name slightly above and to the left of the Turbo badge.
