Figures - is there a demand?
I know there are a few figures of automotive subjects available but do you feel there is demand for more? If so, what scale/subject?
1/24 'civilian', 1/24 rally driver/co driver, 1/24 vintage? 1/20 modern F1, 1/20 1970s F1? Seated in car or standing? etc etc .... Any ideas or thoughts? I'm just doing a little research..... Thanks, Jon. |

Re: Figures - is there a demand?
Most of the interest in figures and dioramas seems to be in Europe and Asia.

some mechanics figures that look like there actually doing work, not just petting the tires....that would be cool.

Re: Figures - is there a demand?
I would say ones you could actually put into the cars would be the best. I was working on making some out of rubber with wire frames inside so you could pose them any way you wanted.

Re: Figures - is there a demand?
If you want research pick up a backorder of scale auto mag (Aug 1998). They have a list of all figures in kits, suppliers stopped putting figures in kits in the early 90s. 60s, 70s, and 80s had many kits with figures.
