Red Bull Porsche 911 Turbo [Tamiya]

Hello everyone!! It's been a while since I posted something...
So here I am wuth new build! As a base I'm using the Tamiya Porsche 911 Turbo '88. My plan is to build Porsche with Red Bull livery and some body and interior modifications. Already started.

Base kit:

That's what I've done so far:

Body - kinda RSR look:

Interior - just floor was left from kit rest scratched:

Interior parts - dash (CF on + flocking powder (first attempt with it and I'm not happy) + few details), seat (cevlar on + flocking), modified rollcage, scrtached battery and few other details:

Quick mock up of interior:

Sorry for bad quality of pics!
All comments and sugestions welcomed!!

Looking good. Try micro balloons to get great texture on seats and other stuff, a couple modelers use it and it comes out great.

Is the red bull porsche a actual car?

Re: Red Bull Porsche 911 Turbo [Tamiya]

Thanks MidMazar! There is a Red Bull Porsche GT3R so one I'm bulding is just my idea. I was thinking what livery should I use on that car, been thru tons of pics and didn't find anything... then remind of spare sheet of decals from Revell Red Bull BMW and decide to use them.
Unfortunately Guiwee can't post pics of decals, still waiting for them. But you can check this tread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...=920297&page=2 these are the ones I'm going to use.

Re: Red Bull Porsche 911 Turbo [Tamiya]

That UAW logo is there without reason, battery was looking kinda empty without so the first decal I took out of my bag with remains was this one :P I knew that samone will ask about it... I don't think you could find them on any Porsche car....

Re: Red Bull Porsche 911 Turbo [Tamiya]

Next update!
Body almost done, just two more decals missing on rear arches. Paint work is crap - white is ok but blue one is terrible...:/

Now it's time for clear coat but I'm not sure what to do... I saw Godfather23 using these decals and clear just ruined them... Honestly these ones are very bad, thin and it's very easy to tear them... What U thik? What I should do??

Re: Red Bull Porsche 911 Turbo [Tamiya]

Clear it because it'll make your blue look alot better but remember to do your mist coats first or you WILL ruin the decals.
I do like your idea and color scheme.

You can try also a little bit of Future floor polish over the decals with a brush before apply the clear. I will give a great barrier against the clear.
