Camaro SS
I have a 2000 Camaro SS, 22000 miles. Took vehicle from storage after 6 months, charged the battery and started the car. The Brake light on the instrument panel, the ABS INOP light and the Service Engine, not the service engine soon light, stays on after vehicle has been running. The car drives and stops fine. What does anyone think? I put my OBD II tester on it and there are no codes found.
thanks in advance... Tom |

Re: Camaro SS
Is the service engine light an oil change light? My 02 Z28 has that light but only comes on in bulb check. I assume it has an oil life monitor but don't have the owners manual so not sure. First, check the brake fluid level just to make sure it isn't something simple. Then you will need a scanner that reads ABS codes. I don't know if those code readers will read ABS codes, may need an actual scan tool.

Re: Camaro SS
It is not the service engine soon light, but the service vehicle light. It turned out to be a simple fuse...
