91 camaro starting and stalling problem

I have a 91 camaro rs. For some reason when you go to intially start it, it will start then run for abou 2-4 secs and die. It does this for about 4-8 times before it will actually sit there and run. Then it could run great for hours, but then randomly going down the road it will die out again. So when you turn the key off and restart it will start fine. Note when it stalls or dies there is no sputtering or spitting and all electrical stays on. It is just the motor stopping. Anyway help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having this same problem with my 91 Camaro RS w/TBI. If anyone has suggestions, I would be appreciative.
