road trip

i'm getting ready to leave on a long road trip and i was just wondering what all i should check before i go.

Like.
Year make and modle and engine and transmission and mileage and Mantiance history?

1996 suburban 5.7, 4l60e less than 2,00 miles on trans and engine. always well maintained 3000 mile oil changes and every thing gets fixed as soon as it needs it.

Without what maintiance that has been done and vechical mileage we can not help.

If motor and transmission has been replaced most stuff should have been done on that end.

Things I would check is tires and wheel bearings and brakes.
Coolant system and belts and hoses and u joints.
And a general look over.
