a/c condensation inside?
Hello I have a 98 v6 convert. It has recently got really humid here and it recently started dripping small amounts of condensation from the lower dash on the passenger side. The a/c condensation outlets on the exterior of the firewall appears to be working as it should ( large puddle of water with dripping as usual on outside). What should I do to begin my investigation?
Thanks Derek |

Re: a/c condensation inside?
That's what was wrong with my Escort. Ford had a recall and they put a shield between it and the blower motor electrics because the moisture was a fire hazard. There may be a recall for your Mustang, also.

Re: a/c condensation inside?
You probably have a blocked AC drain. From underneath the car, look for a rubber hose below your dash on the passenger side (or thereabouts) that just hangs down. Blow some air up this and I'll bet you solve your moisture problems.
Good luck.... |
