where would i find a d16z6?

i am looking for a d16z6 where would i go to find one? also i have a d16y7 and i was wand ering what i would have to do if i wanted to add an civic ex engine from a 96-00 civic? would i have to also change out the ecu?

I think the only difference between the Y7 and Y8 is VTEC and the head. Check out this link:

Hope that helps you out. You could do this and get more power right away or use a turbo kit. With a turbo or S/C, who needs VTEC??

i checked e-bay

i went and checked e-bay and they did have what i wanted but i have been screwed over to many time by sellers ripping me off and taking my moneymad: is there any other online stores that ou guys could recommend? also would a greddy turbo kit for a 92-95 civic ex bolt right on to a d16y8 or would ther be some unexpected modifications that i do not know about? any replies would be greatly helpfu?l :

You could buy pretty much any turbo kit that will fit the Y8 manifold and use a CAI tube and cut it to fit the charge pipe. That's what my friend did and he says that he doesn't have boost leak at all.
