head gasket, replacement sequence
so most recently my mechanic replaced the head gasket which was blown out and put the heads back on and torqued them down to proper specs.....month went by and mechanic disappeared....in jail! now i have the car half put back together. i think just the intake and such needs installed but i dont know what order. Any ideas? Maybe a Haynes manual? Sequence chart? Should i hire someone? What would be a good price for a shop to reassemble?
thanx p.s. im a self learner, and i can do basic repairs alternators, brakes, etc. |
