Bilstein shocks, in case you were interested...
Got this email the other day, about two weeks after my request...
Hello Jonathan, I can supply these shocks to you. As Bilstein never made these officially available there would be no warranty as to fittiment or life span of shocks. The cost would be $139.95 ea. x 4 = $559.80 plus freight. I do not know your location. If in the continental USA freight should be about $ 18.00 for the set of four Bilsteins. I have the part #'s you requested currently available and delivery to you in the continental USA would be 7-10 days. Master/Visa ok. Thank you, Autobob Jonathan Gladden wrote: > > > I am looking to get some shocks from overseas. The part numbers are - > front #B46-1782, rear #BE5-2344. I had European P11 rear Konis on my car and they were really short! Required all kinds of modification to make them fit on my US car and then the car didn't ride very well with the short shocks. Fronts were no problem though.
I would stay away from Euro-spec rear P11 shocks on a US car, but maybe Bilstein makes a B14/Maxima/P11 rear shock too. Don McLaurin |
