'98 3500 diesel oil pressure guage?
I have a '98 3500 diesel Ram P/U. The oil pressure gauge went T.U. a few days ago, and the 'check gauges' light came on. I'm having a hard time locating the oil pressure sending unit so I can test the voltages to / from it to the gauge. I am not driving the truck right now in case the oil pressure is actually zero. I don't think it is, I just don't want to take that chance ya know?
If I install a mechanical gauge, will it have any effect on the computer or driveability? Vacation is 3 weeks away!!
