antenna delete
i never listen to the radio, thus i dont need the antenna. i have found several how-tos on removing the pole and motor, but i dont know what to do about the hole, or little black ring. it looks like it could be shaved but i dont really know how to do that. suggestions?

Re: antenna delete
Only way to do it clean is to have a plug welded in and smoothed out.

Re: antenna delete
well i would definitely have to get a shop to do that. would it ever look right though? like would the paint look good? i dont want it to look tacky forever. i guess i could put a decal over it for a temporary fix

Re: antenna delete
if the shop does it right it should look good.
once me and my friend took his wing off from his mustang and bondoed the holes. it looked good after we painted it. and that was six holes. SAMSUNG-SGH-I617/1.0 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) |

Re: antenna delete
The right way is to plug the hole like Stealthee said. Just take it to a body shop and they can make it look like it was never there. Here's what my car looks like with the antenna shaved. Granted, the had to cut out metal for this one, On a 3S it's as simple as pulling the antenna, cut the plug, slight forming, and weld it in. Then they will have to grind, fill, and paint the area.
Here's mine, it was on the passenger fender. Before: ![]() After: ![]()

Re: antenna delete
I can't say for sure, that was a drop in the bucket of everything they did.
