could be that some of the valve bodies are clogged. it happened in an old car of mine, a transmission flush fixed it pretty cheep too.

BOBO which maxima you got and how many miles you got on it. If you have under 60k miles you still have manufacturers warranty. Take your car to the dealer, unless its just tranny fluid level is low.

.....yah i just checked the fluid level.........i got more than enough....
........i was thinking if it could be the new ATF i put in.....its the mobile 1 synthetic oil.......could it be too "slippery" for the tranny?....
........yah and i got only 57000km on it............and i just got my tranny flushed 4 months ago....so i dont really kno wut to do..........could it be dropping it from N to D at 6000RPM did some harm to it?....(under 10 times since it was purchased)
.......O ya...!... last thing.....my max is a 99' SE

neutral drops are hell on your tranny. if you wanted to race should got a 5 speed. probably still can since it sound like your tranny is cashed. if you're gonna do a N drop do it at like 1600rpm not 6000

wow, that must have been a site to see. next time try putting it in 1 and brake torque it. i usually brake torque until 1800-2000rpm, wherever the best traction is

u dont even need to drop it out of D. if ur racing some1 jus tourq brake it to bout 1500-1800 rpm and go, it will go thru the higher rpm range thru all gears. that changing gears out of d can fuck up ur tranny too

......what`s weird is that i park the car in an indoor garage....it should be decently warm for the car.........ohh wel.......
