Broken Spring
Hey Guys. . . Been a while since I have been on here. My 00 GA GT has been leaning toward the driver side for a while now so I finally took her in. The spring on the drivers side is broken. The guy had it up on the lift and showed me how he can just coil it up and down with one hand. He also showed me how he could coil it all the way down toward the wheel. I was planning on trading the car in this weekend for a while now. Unfortunately I want to trade it on a Bonneville I found 4 hours away. The technician told me not to drive the GA with the broken spring. It is a straight shot up one rather smooth interstate. My question is should I drive it or not?

Re: Broken Spring
I wouldnt if its broken and making the car lean.
![]() It's possible that side could just drop at any time for no reason, and while the cars moving wouldnt be pretty.
