Bizzare Radio Problem; suspect UFOs?

Ok, well maybe not UFOs. But I am having odd radio difficulties. The radio in my Sonata has stopped picking up all FM stations. No matter what I do i cant get them back. AM radio still works for some reason but has become much more sensitive to static (passing under thin bridges causes huge static whereas before it did not). I'm not sure what to make of it. First I want to determine whether its my stock deck or my antenna and thats what I'm hoping for advice on. If its the deck i'm gonna swap it for an after-market deck. This Sonata is the 4 clyinder, stock model.

My wife has an 04 Sonata and I'm having troubles with the whole player. The FM stations have very poor reception in this car, you can barely get any channels to come in at all.
