New transaxle?
I still haven't replaced the Getrag F23 trans in my '04, and I really need to, it's getting bad-bad now. I was trying to find the cheapest low mileage used one I could, when I found a new 2009 F23. I e-mailed the seller to check if it will fit my '04 (sure looks the same, same RPO code), but I wanted the input from someone who doesn't have any financial stake in it. It's only a bit more (with free shipping and insurance) than most of the good low mileage ones I've found and it's new. Link here
Thanks, Jason

Re: New transaxle?
No, front mount is in wrong location.

Re: New transaxle?
Do you know if everything else lines up? If that's the only difference, I can fabricate my own mount. Or, if you know if the shafts/gears would swap, I could just do that. I was trying to see what all it fits, and I found that the 1-4 synchros are carbon (or carbon coated, I forget). The '04 has a different synchro or coating for 3/4, and since those are the ones that are bad on mine, and 1/2 are still good, I figure the carbon is better.
