Re: 95 grand am turn signals
let say there are 4 pins a, b, c, and d on you flasher. measure resistance between ab ac ad
bc bd and cd write measurements on the paper and go to autozone and do the same on the new one before you buy it and compare the results. If you get close readings you are ok if not you need a new one. |

Re: 95 grand am turn signals
Welcome to AF green-giant32 !!
Yea the flasher relay is in the cabin area. Should be a small round cylinder looking thing close to the steering column with 3-4 wires running to it. Btw hav you tried your hazzard lights ? If they work and your turns dont, then your multi function switch is most likly the problem.

Re: 95 grand am turn signals
Ok, if the hazzards arent working then it's most likly the flasher relay thats bad.
Might as well replace it, as it's not worth trying to test. The new one will be sealed in a package and once you open it you cant usualy return it, they are inexpensive. ![]() Here is a pic of where it's located....

Re: 95 grand am turn signals
unfortunately, i've pulled the lower part of my dash down... and then a metal plate down... and the section your picture shows is held in by rivots or would take a lot of effort to pull apart... then i probably wouldnt be able to get it back together... anything i'm missing?

Re: 95 grand am turn signals
just looked at the electrical diagram for your 95 3.1 and realised that your hazards have their own flasher, and turn signals have their own flasher as well. It is very unlikely that both failed at the same time, and you said that fuses are all good. So if someone did not do some work around the multifunction switch and leave connector for turn signal and hazard swithc disconnected then I think you have MFS problem. But since you got the part try it anyway but I doubt that it is going to solve the problem this time. It is one of this two for sure( bad connection to MFS or bad MFS).

Re: 95 grand am turn signals
good work,
but strange, XI please check Mitchell's and see if they show two separate flashers, Alldata shows one for turn one for hazards for 95 model |
