I need help fixing my steering wheel.

I had a very, very difficult weekend and took my anger out on my steering wheel. Not only am I now ashamed at what I've done, I'm left with trying to fix it. This is a 2006 Mercury Mariner steering wheel. How do I fix the damage in these pics? Lots of thanks, in advance.

To properly fix that, you need to replace that piece. I also think that houses the air bag.

Hmmm, I was thinking some crazy glue might do the trick. If I do have to replace that, how much am I looking at spending?

More than what the crazy glue costs. You may be able to just buy the pad, but usually that is part of the air bag itself.

Re: I need help fixing my steering wheel.

No chance this thing is covered under bumper to bumper warranty, right?

Re: I need help fixing my steering wheel.

It is possible it may be 5 years and 50,000 miles. You might have to fudge a little as to how it was damaged. go to the following site and look at the warranty information in the owners manual. It will tell you if it is warranteed.
