1997 s10 2.2 Fuel System Problems

I have a 1997 Chevy s10 2.2 and about a month ago I noticed that I had gas in my oil. I knew this because I started getting really bad gas mileage and could smell the gas in the oil. I put new injectors in because I thought that might be the problem but it didn't work. It has also been hard to start in the mornings after it sits overnight. I think it might be the fuel pressure regulator but I have no idea. The truck doesn't smoke, miss, or lose power when I push the gas. I really would like to get my truck back on the road. Does anyone know what is going on.

Remove the vacuum line from the FPR to check for the presence of fuel.

Make sure the PCV is working.
