Spark Plugs...

I have 98 blazer... went to ACDelco's site and ordered spark plugs and was sent 41-933. When I pulled the old ones out they are 41-932. All that is referenced on this site is 41-932. What is the difference? Does anyone know? I checked with Advanced as well and all they sell is 41-933. What should I do?

Best to find a good local parts place and get your plugs.
If problems you can take them right back to them.

You should always check the latset AC delco spark plug book.
For your year make and model and engine and engine code.

41-933 is plugs for 7.4-454 engine gaped at .060"

MY 2006 AC BOOK SHOWS 41-932 GAPED AT .054" for your Blazer.

Using the wrong spark plug no and gap can damage your engine.

The plug gap is preset at factory on plat plugs and should never be regaped.
If not right pitch them back and get some that are right.
But And always check gap and for for tips being centered with plat dots.

Re: Spark Plugs...

Hey MT-2005...
This is what I found out. The 41-932 has been discontinued and was superceded by 41-993. I was able to find 6 41-932 at a local pep boys. However, it is the last of his stock and he says he can't get anymore. I just wonder, since all the parts stores and even ACDelco's site says 41-993 is the plug for the 98 blazer, if it will do any harm?

I know that I will not be the one to find out since I was able to get 41-932s. Anybody else running the 993s in their blazer?

Yes they have changed to 41-933 AC plugs.
That is why you always need to check the lastest AC delco spark plug book.
Good Luck
