So I decided to upgrade a little, but..
My alpine started acting very picky with my minorly scratched cd's so I upgraded for a Jvc double din...god I had forgot how good jvc hu's sounded...but anyhow, I was wondering.. do you guys think cleaning the lens on that alpine would fix the problem? if so how can I clean it because Idk if i should buy one of those cleaning cd's they sell at walmart or throw it away?... It would be nice if i could fix it a lil and flip it for some gas money. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I have heard of those cleaning CD's damaging the lens mechanism. You may just have a worn out motor but hard to tell over the net.
