92 prelude with F22b knocking.
Hey everyone, I just bought a 92 prelude si, with an F22b swapped in place of the stock H23.
Problems I've noted so far: hard to start when cold, knock in the engine which seems spark related as its very pronounced at the dist, knock seems to disappear under load, wheel alignment is way out. While I know the steps to take to remedy these problems, I'm hoping someone can point me to possible mistakes/shortcuts the previous owner took when putting this Jdm F22b in the car. I'm not sure what to look at as far as the computer, or distributor, etc. The check engine light is not on, it doesn't flash at start up either. I've read that you need to swap distributors from the H23 on to the F. Anyhow the ignition coil is external, and I also hear a very pronounced intake/sucking noise while accelerating. I'm thinking this thing is timed up wrong, and possibly the swap wasn't 100% done proper. Any ideas to help me out here?

Re: 92 prelude with F22b knocking.
Man that's alotta shit to work on. You'd be better off buying an H22 and putting it in.
