'95 Marq Won't turn over

Can some of you experts point me in the right direction to trouble shoot a starting problem with my son's 1995 Grand Marq. The car died on him as he was driving up our road. He coasted to the side of the road and tried to restart with no luck. We towed it home.

When trying to start it just clicks. All gages come on but it won't turn over.

The battery is good, the starter checked out OK and Orielly's. Any suggestions on where to look next?

Where is it clicking? Did you try turning the crank over with a wrench to make sure the engine didn't seize? Not sure if your 95' has a starter Solenoid Switch on the starter or mounted in the engine bay, but most of the time if it just clicks it's the Solenoid.

The clicking is the starter engaging the flywheel. The pully's turn slightly but the engine is definitely not turning over.

Get a wrench on the bottom pulley (Crank Shaft Pulley) and make sure it turns the engine over maually, make sure it goes all the way around. If the crank will turn over like that, recheck that starter. If you can't get the wrench to turn the motor over the engine is seized.
