any other known cause??

i have a 98 eclipse that drives me crazy when i get after it during hard cornering it wants to cut out. looked through forum threads for awhile and learned about the fuel sloshing from side to side which makes sense. could it be something else? if i remember correctly it does it even if gas is full.

Welcome to AF!

Turbo or non turbo motor? I have never had my car cut out when cournering even with low fuel. I could see it happening if the tank was almost empty. Have you replaced the fuel filter lately. What about plugs, wires, oil? Make sure your plugs are gapped correctly and maintenance is up to date.
