painting stock wheels black?

Hey I have a question about painting my stock honda wheels. I was wondering how i would go about painting my wheels. Or where I would go to have them painted? Cuz I think it would be cool to have them black on my car. thanks any help is great...

i just cleaned mine up real good and used high temp spray paint (in the ghettoooooooo):smoka:

first off are they rims or hubcaps? if hubcaps then paint then if rims then get them powdered coated.

how much does powdercoating coast? i want to powdercoat my intake and rims if not too much but i heard it was really expensive like 150 a rim

They are the stock factory 14" rims... Yeh how much to powder coat them and where would i go to do that?

cost varies check in the phone book maybe you have some local places that can do it.

if i wanted to paint my hub caps..(and i have never heard of painting hub cap.) what kind of paint should i use, and what color would look best? my cars dark green..

either high temp paint like someone above reccomended or just plain old exterior automotive paint and clear coat will work.


with a dark green car either white or like a gunmetal color.

there's a place by me who will do it for 35 bucks a rim, and my boy did it on a set of 18's, so it might be cheaper if u did 14's, mayb aorund 25-30 bucks a rim, not bad if u ask me.......

I got bored yesterday and used black spray paint. I just taped off the tire, sprayed it with some primer, then did two coats of this "industrial" enamel. The crappy paint job fits my POS car.
