Question Axle u-joint replacement.

While doing a front brake job on my 4 X 4 Ram I noticed that the U-joint for that axle is bad and needs replacing. I looked in my Haynes Manual but there was no info on doing how to do it. I was surprised at this. I had heard a rattle sound from this wheel & that is what it is. Does anyone know where I can find the procedure for this job?
I hate to rely on repair shops if I can do the job myself.

Re: Re: Axle u-joint replacement.

Well it was running up until yesterday. It died on me on the way to the store & had to have it towed.
I suspect the fuel pump. It would not start back up and the check engine light did not come on. It was like it was not getting the gas.

Do yourself a favor and get a factory repair manual...Ebay/swap meets. It makes life so much easier for all repairs.
