About two months ago the passenger window would not go down. It had been real slow so I thought the motor had gone bad. I replaced the motor and it still wouldn't go down. So I started to do some troubleshooting which I should have done before I replaced the motor. The original motor was not bad. It goes in the up direction. I tried to find schematics but only could find them for the coupes. I have replaced both the passenger switch and the drivers switches and it still does not go down. If I put it down and then replace the motor it goes up just fine. I have checked the two relays and they both ohm out the same. The only other possibility I can think of is the switch to lower and raise the top because it lowers the windows a couple inches when activated. Does anyone have any ideas or know where I can get a schematic for the convertible power windows? The weather is getting right for putting the top down and it looks a little strange with one window up.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 2000 Sebring Convertible Power Windows
Did you ever figure out the window problem you were having last year? Having the same problem now -- and the car is for sale, which is not a good selling point...
![]() Was working earlier today. But tonight I put the top down and noticed the passenger window was still up. Now I can't even secure the top, because the window needs to be down a bit first. Mike [email protected] |
