vibration?

Hey i have a 97 sc2 5 speed...

ok so the last 3 months or so i have noticed a vibration almost in my floorboard i thought i was just feeling things...well now its getting worse i only really notice it around 55+mph. it seems to go away if i take it out of gear its got me confused.

i have a rattle im pretty sure its just a heat shield and my upper motter mount has a tiny crack in it. ideas?? i have a friend looking at it tomorrow but dont really know where to start....thanks again Josh


ohh forgot the car shifts fine and has normal power....feels like nothing is wrong

Bad top mount. Your just hitting the resonant frequency at 55mph.

Yeah thats getting done tomorrow night. belive it or not it was the heat shield above my cat just ever so slightly touching my exhaust after it warmed up.....i love my baby she is sooooooooo fast lol people and saturn hating just jelous i beat them v8s hahahahahahah
