Powercat air compressors

Im looking to get a new air compressor for my iwata CR. I found this deal online. You get a gravity feed airbrush and air compressor with water trap, regulator and it works up to 60 psi. Does anyone have experience with this air compressor? Its only $70, seems to good to be true.

heres the link

It does, doesn't it?

You can get an Iwata compressor for twice that, with air hose, regulator and water trap. Might just be worth the extra money....

Re: Powercat air compressors

These sets are on sale regularly here in Poland so the offer is probably legit.

However, I agree with Andy - if you can afford it, go for the Iwata compressor. I had one of these little things and a) it didn't last very long and, more importantly, b) the pressure is not very good and the airflow tends to "pulse" a little. Still a usable piece of equipment though.

Re: Powercat air compressors

I bought a great little 2 gallon compressor at Tractor Supply a few years ago for my airbrushing. At that time about $70 if I remember right. Still works great, no pulsing, water trap etc all included. Wally world has similar compressors too and you can use them for small projects around the house.
