Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

Guys just completely finished the meth isntall by buying a new tank and did my first two pulls.

Knock was reduced, and horsepower was increased....

by an average 30 whp without a tune right out of the box!

I put these in picture form so that people without link could see them

WOW! That's impressive. Track time!

How much are you using each time it sprays? Like will it last a while or need to refill all the time?

thats a really good question I don't know
I'm using the m14 nozzle so thats 14gallons an hour
my tank is 1.4 gallons. So thats 10%. So that means my tank will last 10% of an hour which means it will last 6 minutes of full boost.

each run down the track is 12 seconds soooo
so 40+ runs

Stevie with the math breakdown. Nice. Let's see how accurate that actually is now

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

Thats awesome man, Have you done any runs with the g-tech pro thing? Thats the next best thing than real track time. I think I am deffinately going to do it this summer. Those results are amazing. That was about 30whp with no increased timing or boost level?

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

yes 30 whp just on the straight meth (100\% meth is about 99 octane) so thats where the gains came from mostly and the cooler denser charge.

Haven't busted out the gtech yet went for a pull today and scared the crap out of a chick in my car but thats about it

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

No not yet, got to wait till I start workin a lot this summer. Have you thought about adding some water and only running 50% meth to see if there are any more gains?

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

One thing I have been a little confused about is how to activate the meth. I have seen two options for this. Im assuming your using link to activate the meth on? I have heard of people using a solenoid where they cut the pump on and then link would open the solenoid allowing the meth to flow out. Or they dont run a solenoid and just cut the pump on and off when they want it to spray. Im sure you have researched this a little more than I have so how are you running yours are which would you recommend?

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

there are a couple ways. One is a progressive solenoid which at a certain psi activates the pump at maybe 10% or 25% or whatever and then when it reaches the next threshold it activates all the way.
Mine is simpler and cheaper (dsm styles) mine just goes 100% on when I hit 10 psi Since I'm using 100% meth its more like a nitrous shot then a cooling shot but I still get a little of both.

oh and no the meth is independent of my link the pressure switch is what decides to control the meth on and off which then sends a signal to the relay and from there the pump.

Re: Stevie K is addicted to meth...and doesn't need a intervention

Ok so you just have the pump cutting on when the pressure switch hits 10psi. Is there any delay from the pump having to prime and pressurize the line? I would think it should do this really fast but is there a 1 sec delay or anything?
