Okay, so, I can't seem to get the quick disconnect fitting apart. I even went and bought the special tool for it (clutch coupling tool). Everything that I've read about the quick disconnect tool mentions a "white retainer" or something that decompresses a spring. However, there isn't a "white retainer" on my quick disconnect fitting. Im not sure if it broke off before I started working on it? Or? But I know it isn't there. How do I solve this? Do I cut the hydraulic line? Is there a way to disconnect the quick disconnect tool from the slave cylinder? Any and all help needed/wanted/welcomed. Thanks!
John

Re: Quick Disconnect Fitting that goes to slave cylinder
Seems to me if I remember correctly that on my 1 ton, I had to push the line on further to get the clip off. Hope this helps.
