power window switch center removal 2001 gp

Hi all, how do i remove the power window switch center from the drivers side door. my wife left the window open one night and it rained on the switches. now the drivers window won't go up unless you play with the button a lot. do you have to remove the whole door panel or can you just pop out the switch assembly? thanks all

You do not need to remove the door panel.

Carefully using a small flat blade screwdriver, insert at the lower end of the switch trim piece (bezel). Push in to release the retaining tab and at the same time lift up on the lower part of the trim piece.
