Trunk Remote Problem
Hello,
I have a 96 Sunfire convertible SE 2.4L. When I press the 'trunk' button on my keyless entry remote the trunk does not open. The 'lock' and 'unlock' buttons work fine for both doors. I can hear a clicking noise coming from the left-hand side of the inside of my trunk when I press the 'trunk' button. There is some circuitry in the area where I am hearing the click. Any idea what the problem may be? Thanks. |

Re: Trunk Remote Problem
sounds like the mechanical part of things needs some lubrication. Pop your trunk, check for rust or seized parts from your trunk actuator to the trunk latch.
