1987 chevy pickup electrical problems
I have a 87 chevy pickup c10.I replaced the 305 engine with a new 305.At the time of swap everything electric worked.the problem is I have no power at the fuse box for Insturment LPs,Horn/dimmer,T/L-CTSY and also ECM B ,I have two fuses for the ecm and one has power the other does not.All other fuses have power to them.I checked from the starter, the wire leading up to the battery block everything checked out there.then from batteryblock to the back of fuse box butt,I have power there also.I then removed butt plug and checked there I didnt see any melted wires or corroded terminals, then checked out behind fuse box under dash I couldnt see any melted or corroded wires there.Ive changed out the ignition switch, light switch, nuetral safty switch, but still nothing! If anybody has a suggestion or some knowledge about electrical I would surely appreciate it,I going nuts trying to figure this out.....HELP

Re: 1987 chevy pickup electrical problems
There is more than one power wire to the fuse box from the starter. And they have fusable links. Also check all of your body grounds. Make sure every conector is plugged in.
