Rebuild parts list?

In the process of getting myself a 6 bolt engine and I was wondering if anyone happened to have a list of parts to replace during a rebuild.

Already have my Eclipse bible to help me through the process but I want to try to throw together a rough estimate of what Im going to spend.

BTW Im swapping into a 95 so possibly a list of whats needed for that too.

Just a stock rebuild, slight build up, or a full blown built motor? Goals in mind so we can guide you to the best worthwhile mods.

Lookin for a goal of maybe 400hp with room to grow in the future. Before my car kicked the bucket I estimated just under 300hp from other similar mods from others...give or take 20hp.

I know theres a fine line with fuel injector that youll eventually need DSM link...which I dont mind buying.

So for now, nothing overkill, maybe some decent internals + extras to hit 400ish hp. Im pretty sure Ill end up replacing the crank with a new one + bearings...things like that is what I need tips/help with.

Scratch that, Im picking up a fully built engine for around 2k.

So did he say why he's selling it? Seems odd to just be selling a built motor when it was already in the car once... Unless he has another one he was swapping it with... Too bad the turbo isn't included. lol

He was selling it to try to get another car that was a really good deal. That fell through so he was considering keeping the motor until the kid selling a shell decided not to.

EDIT:

Oh and the motor hasnt been broken in yet, he said it has around 5 miles on it tops...15-25min of run time.

Stock block bored .020 over, tumbled and deck resurfaced.
Weissco 8.3/1 Forged pistons
Floated 1G big rods, c clip wrist pins(non press in)
Brand new OEM crank from mitsubishi
Felpro headgasket
Arp headstuds(torqued to 120ftlbs)
Moderately ported head(stage 3)
HKS 264/272 Cam combo
Sheet metal intake manifold
Brand new oil pan straight from mistu.
ACL Race bearings

Theres the list...looks like I just need to pick up some decent sized injectors.

I want to shoot for close to 500hp now. If I do a 50 trim, what sized injectors should I get and do I need to get something bigger then a Walbro 190?

For 500hp your gonna need a 255 pump and at least some 850 or 950 injectors I would think... What are you planing on tuning with?

On a side note, what happened with your oil pump in your talon blog - it locking up - is exactly what happened to my car a while ago.

Is there anything I can do to make sure that doesnt happen lol?

I donno, it was brand new. I just happened to get a faulty one I guess. Not really a way to prevent that from happening...

Picked it up today, everything looks perfect.

Wednesday Im going back down to sarasota to take out everything in the car to get to the headliner and ecu. Sometime this month or early next month Ill be shipping out my ECU for DSMLink. I need to read up on it big time.

Any recommendations on 50 trim turbos? A/R sizes, etc.
