Battery location in vehicles

Hello

Does any know how I can get information on vehicles whose batteries are located in a different place as the engine compartment? For ecample in the trunk in the case of Mercedes E Class

I'm not aware of a comprehensive list. You can start your own though. 2007 Infiniti G35 is at the base of the windshield, similar to the location in the 1999 VW Passat. The Lincoln LS has the battery in the trunk (spare tire well). 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora is under the back seat. Some of the Corvettes in the 70's and maybe into the 80's had the battery behind the seats in a compartment.
