Angry the tell tail dinging

i have a 1994 Chevrolet Beretta 3.1 liter. my issue is that i receive a tone alert and my dome light stays on even when the key is out of the ignition. it stops once the car is started. i ran a diode test on both door sensors and both read clean in open and closed positions. i am at a lose. any advice and where to check next and if the answer is the headlight/ dimmer switch i will need to know how to remove it without damaging the instrument cluster. also dimmer switch is not in interior light on position.

Talking Re: the tell tail dinging

found the issue its the multi-function alarm module which is located under the dash on the drivers side. the module is hot pink and a pain in the @** to get to. this thing controls interior lights and the power locks. hope this helps the other poor souls out there trying to solve this issue.
