Does anyone know ( or know where I can find out) if a 1967 Chevelle 283 engine used the "rams horn" exhaust manifolds? Also would anyone know when Chevrolet including Chevelle quit using these exhaust manifolds and went to the newer rear outlet manifolds. Thanks in advance!
A week later and no response: Wow! I'm impressed. I thought this would be a pretty easy question for any of you experts to answer. Evidently not or is it just so easy that it is not worth your time and effort. I hope I don't offend anyone, but at 72 years old, I don't have a lot of patience because at that age, you realize that nobody lives forever. Last edited by Old Tom; 01-29-2009 at 03:41 AM. |

Re: Exhaust Manifold
What an attitude, nothing that a well placed knee couldn't fix, I don't give a crap how old or young you are.
The '67 Chevelle 283 and 327 took the rams horns style exhaust manifolds. The advent of the rear outlet came along with the 350 engines. What year I can't tell you exactly, I've mixed and matched them before where they didn't belong. Bob |

Re: Exhaust Manifold
Thank you so much bobss396; I'll try to keep out of the way of your knee.
