____________________________________ Joyrider wrecks rapper's Lamborghini Before you leave your car in the hands of a towing company, you may want to hear about the fate of a R3.75-million Lamborghini. An employee couldn't keep his hands off the supercar and ended up 'wrapping' it around a tree. An example of what can go horribly wrong when you leave your car with someone else for 'safekeeping'. A man responsible for demolishing an American rap artist's Lamborghini Diablo during an unauthorised spin has been arrested and will spend Christmas in jail for his expensive joyride. The Lamborghini, belonging to rap star Missy Elliott, was stolen from a towing firm by an employee. The alleged joyride ended just 5km from the company's headquarters, where the culprit worked as a dispatcher. The man apparently lost control of the supercar and mowed down a speed limit sign before slamming into a tree. He has since been charged with reckless driving, hit-and-run, grand larceny and driving while being a habitual offender. He is now being held in a local jail pending a hearing on January 22. Damage to the vehicle was initially estimated to be worth $161 000 (R1.95-million), but the cost of repairs now appears to exceed the Lamborghini's value of $311 000 (R3.75-million).

Excpet for the tree wrapping part, sounds like fun. I bet he realized he'd never get another chance like this. I guess I see some reasoning behind it, but more clear is the 'stupid' factor.

it is true Missy Diablo was crashed....BUUUUT i dont know where u got that pic cuz Missys Diablo was purple and had chrome rims. ill try to find a pic of her actual smashed Diablo

A tow firm employee has been jailed on charges of crashing a $311,000 (£215,358) Lamborghini Diablo destined for rap star Missy Elliott.
Joseph Thomas Johnson took the car for a joyride while the company he worked for was transporting the brand new sports car to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Henrico County police said the man took the car for a drive but hit a speed limit sign before smashing into a tree, three miles from his firm's headquarters. Missy Elliot has recorded with many stars The car was abandoned in the early hours of the morning. and detectives were led to Mr Johnson by evidence left in the car. The damage to the 2001 plum-coloured sports car is estimated at $161,000 (£111,488). Century Inc., where Mr Johnson worked as a dispatcher, had been hired to transport the prestige motor to Elliott's Virginia Beach home. Collaborations Mr Johnson has been charged with reckless driving, grand larceny, hit-and-run and driving while being a habitual offender. Missy "Misdemeanour" Elliott is known as much for her collaborations as her own solo career. She had recently worked with Janet Jackson on Son of Gun and with Christina Aguilera, Mya, Pink and Lil' Kim on Lady Marmalade. Her biggest solo hit has been the critically acclaimed Get Your Freak On which was released in April 2001. Last year a member of Jeremy Clarkson's production team crashed a Lamborghini Diablo after losing control. The car had been borrowed from motor company for a slot in the presenter's BBC show but only made it out of a car park in London's Park Lane. aoo7 - She just ordered a new Murcielago today. I just faxed over the order this morning. The color combination will be sweet. I can't really say what colors until it get's here, but she will love it. I'll post pics when i get the car.
