Buying a running 96 GST...then destroying it.
Yeah so basically, that 96 GST me and my buddy were working on, we never finished it. All it needs is a tranny, clutch and paint. He has a lot of project cars, and he wants to sell them all. Everything from hondas, to ka 240s, to a sr 240. So he put the car on ebay a few times, and alot of different people were supposed to buy it...but no one did. So I'm buying it. And instead of putting in a tranny, and painting, then having a nice stock GST....I've going to destroy it. I'm swapping everything to my 2.4 turbo.
The main things that will be used are: -DOHC head -Intake mani -Throttle body -ECU -Wiring harness -knock sensor -Rear disc brakes -Rear sway bar hardware (so that I can finally install my RM sway bar) -and lots of other stock turbo things that I can replace my rigged up shit with! And...I will have a spare 2.0 turbo motor.....and I already have a spare 6 bolt 4g64. Nothing is missing on the car. The only thing missing is the bumpers, sideskirts, and headlights. (he has all these pieces but will charge me extra, i dont need them anyway) So what do you guys think? Heres a few pics of the car: When we got it:   Now:

Take what you need for your project and sell the shell to get some cash back out of it.

Yeah I will probly keep the shell parked behind my shed, for spare parts for a while, then eventually junk it. Its got a title and everything, so someone could register it. But after I rob the rear suspension and stuff, I doubt anyone will wont the body.
