Hey, Ive had my first car (92 prelude SR) for 2 days now. The only thing that needs replacing are the pedals, so im thinking of getting some nice type -r ones or something along those lines. Now, how exactly do you install them, you unscrew the original pedal fromt he back right? Well if thats what you do, i can't find the screw, because the pedals are sorta close the the front of the car. Anyone have other methods/tips? Sorry for such a newb question but i guess i gotta find out =\

A friend of mine bought some pedals and they just slipped on over the existing ones, They have metal brakets that you slide over the pedal and tighten, Or there are ones that you remove the whole pedal, I have never looked at me pedals in depth so i dont know as far as removing it goes.

haha do not buy the pedals that you tighten down with those cheap flimsy little metal brackets. those things are crap. ive seen so many inccidents where the brake pedal often slides over to the gas pedal and you do the math. the price is cheap yes..but so is the product.

i could not agree more, they fell of after about 2 days, no joke. get the whole pedal and bolt the bastard on.

What cars pedals unbolt?never seen it.The covers are the only ones I've seen since the pedal is one piece with the arm.Momo,Sparco,Mugen and a few others make covers that are actually damn solid when put on right.

As long as you check on the brackets regularly and retighten them, there will be no problems.
