96 gsr suspension on accord 4th gen or some other help

my friend gave me his 96 well conditioned seldomed used gsr struts and springs and i wonder weather the struts will fit on my 1991 accord 4 dr?

my front strut blew finally and i am looking to replace all 4. thinking of going oem for ride quality and price (i get a sik discount) but also concidering antoher suspension set up that is really really close to OEM maybe even a drop..

so even if his struts wont fit...what set up can i run that is smooth and not soft like h & r's?

concidering tokico blue with tokico springs lowered at 1''
concidering tokico blue with stock oem springs no drop

or just plain old oem struts. the choice that has to be made is now so please help guys. im only looking for a 1'' drop if oem is out of the question
